Song a Week #16 - “Alligator Stew”
Song #16, cut and finished. Hope you like it. The project continues and the end seems nowhere in sight, but that’s ok. I haven’t run dry of ideas yet. Maybe I shouldn’t have said that?

Lyrics for - Alligator Stew
You look so good sleeping next to me
Your lips so good like candy
When I'm not home When you're not around
I feel so strange don't know who I am
But there's nothing like coming home to you
eat some Alligator stew
Alligator Stew
But there's nothing like coming home to you
eat some Alligator stew
Alligator Stew
Funny thing is you look so nice
Look so good you could cut through ice
When my heads on straight I'm no one else
When my heads not right feels like someone else
But there's nothing like coming home to you
eat some Alligator stew
Alligator Stew
But there's nothing like coming home to you
eat some Alligator stew
Alligator Stew
Bring me some candy
Show me your body
See me come near you
Show me your mind
But there's nothing like coming home to you
eat some Alligator stew
Alligator Stew
But there's nothing like coming home to you
eat some Alligator stew
Alligator Stew
But there's nothing like coming home to you
eat some Alligator stew
Alligator Stew
But there's nothing like coming home to you
eat some Alligator stew
Alligator Stew
me and you, Alligator Stew
you, you, you

Recording takes a bit of practice. It also takes equipment. You can’t just record on anything. A $5 microphone isn’t going to cut it. In the past I would read that and say “Yeah right.” I tried it, and what do you know? The experts saying I needed good equipment were right. Recording using your Mac is a step in the right direction. You already have a nice Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), and everyone should already have it free on your Mac. With a nice mic and an Audio Interface, you are ready to go!
I hope you like this week’s song I wrote.
